How to Request Deletion of Your Data

At YUPLEE, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of data associated with your use of YUPLEE.

Who Can Make a Deletion Request?

You can request deletion of your data if you are:

A YUPLEE business account holder (e.g., a salon owner or manager registered on the YUPLEE platform); or
A client whose personal data has been processed by a YUPLEE-powered business.

What Data Can Be Deleted?

Business account holders can request deletion of:

Your YUPLEE account and associated profile data;
Your business configuration data;
Historical usage and communication data linked to your account.

Note: Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g., financial records under Belgian accounting law for up to 7 years) or where we have a legitimate legal interest.

Clients of businesses using YUPLEE should note:

The business you interacted with (e.g., your salon) is the data controller for your booking and communication data;
To request deletion of your data as a client, please contact the business directly;
YUPLEE will assist the business in fulfilling your request in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement.

How to Submit a Deletion Request

Send an email to: privacy@valtiergroup.com

Include:

Your full name;
The email address or phone number associated with your account;
A brief description of the data you wish to have deleted;
If you are a client: the name of the business (salon) you interacted with via YUPLEE.

What Happens After You Submit a Request?

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days;
We will complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your verified request (in line with GDPR Article 12);
We will confirm in writing once deletion is complete;
Where deletion is not possible for part of your data (e.g., legally required retention), we will inform you and explain the reason.
